Thinking Finances

Sage 50 Accounts 2010 helps you manage your everyday business finances, keeping track of everything from cash register takings right through to VAT returns. Putting you in control.

The new cash register feature makes it even easier for you to account for your money. Simply import or print off and enter your figures at the end of the day to make sure your accounts are correct before banking the cash. You can record any discrepancies and account for floats too.

Want to know at a glance where your money is, what's due, what's overdue and what's expected? Or delve deeper into costs for individual projects and departments across your business? Sage 50 Accounts 2010 has all the tools to help you.

It's accredited by HM Revenue & Customs so you can prepare, and submit your VAT returns online. Many small businesses will have to file online by law in 2010, so with Sage 50 Accounts 2010 you can do it with confidence.

And if you trade with the European Community, Sage 50 Accounts 2010 helps you deal with important new legislation about goods and services on your EC Sales list, so you'll be right up to date.

Thinking Customers

When it comes to customers and suppliers, Sage 50 Accounts goes far beyond a simple contact list. Matching your customer information up with your financial records means it's easier to manage credit control. See what's been promised and what's overdue so you know who to chase for payments.

Sage 50 Accounts helps you make the most of each sale by turning quotes into invoices and dealing with discounts and deposits. We've also added our profit button to all Sage 50 variants so you can see how much you'll make on each item or order before you commit to a price.

Cash flow is vital to any business, so we've made some real improvements to help you process payments easily.
To help you get your cash more quickly, there's a new 'pay now' option that you can add to your electronic invoices as part of Sage Pay. Refunds are more straightforward too as you can put a payment or credit directly back onto a card and manage everything in one step.

We've also improved the payment processing screens so now you can sort and filter data to find what you're looking for. Search by due date; find the most recent, view by customer and many other variables.

We've made it easier to manage repeat or recurring transactions too. Now you can edit them rather than creating new ones, if you need to change a date, for example.

Thinking Business

By using Sage 50 Accounts to streamline your day-to-day admin, you'll have more time to think about your business.

You can report on any information that's relevant or important to you. Just get the top level overview or use in-depth facts and figures to understand your business, analyse new opportunities and spot risks before they turn into problems.

You can import information from a wide variety of different sources including Microsoft Excel. That's useful if you need to gather details from different projects or departments.
We've made some real improvements to help you do this in Sage 50 Accounts 2010.

There's a new Wizard to get you started, and once you've matched the fields in your data to the fields in your Sage 50 Accounts, you can save your settings and import it the same way every time.

Thinking Time

One of the new time-saving features added to Sage 50 Accounts 2010 is barcode printing. If you need to track and trace, create a pick list or even just carry out stock takes, barcodes make it quick, easy and error free. Use them on delivery notes and your customers can check they've received all they've ordered too.

And whatever you're up to day-to-day, the in-built diary in Sage 50 Accounts helps you manage it, with automatic reminders to prompt you to follow up on things like customer calls or overdue payments.

If that all sounds a lot to take in, don't worry. There are video guides that show you how to use the key features of your software, step by step. Leaving you free to put your mind to business.
